It looked like Jaakuna was full of surprises, really. Emiri was once more shocked at when he basically confessed. She was actually speechless; how do you even respond to something like that? Wait, no, that's not right, it should be obvious. But it wasn't. Everything was just happening so fast! But he said it, and he meant it, and she felt really, really glad. All her feelings seemed to melt away, however, when the Dusk Shard was produced. It had been here all along, had it? The thought of being around two of those things made Emiri feel sick. She also felt partly guilty, so to speak. Maybe Jaakuna wouldn't have gotten hurt if they had known. Then again, it might have been for the better, as now the two shards were in their possession. She was surprised when Wesley expressed his desire to join the group. Nadeline looked at the Dusk Shard briefly before looking at Wesley. "[b][color=fdc68a]With all due respect, Highness, you don't think it best for you to stay and regroup your forces here in Rabanastre? I am sure the people will need you...after...[/color][/b]" Her voice trailed off, but she was clearly referring to the King's demise. "[b][color=fdc68a]...Then again, maybe not. They may come again, and if you are not here, they will have no reason to occupy Rabanastre. Perhaps it really is for the best.[/color][/b]"
