First: I don't think it's literature, but you're overreacting over a silly opinion. One of the Fruits of the Spirit is Self Control, man.
Second: I have read fanfiction. Plenty of it.

I form my opinion based on the statements of my English teacher (great Christian teacher), and my personal experiences reading fanfiction. They're fan stories, not Shakespeare. Don't get so worked up.
