Power(s): Finn has very strong magical power that grant him several abilities, he also has magic derived from his Warlock heritage as well. these abilities include.
Flight: With the help of his magical staff, Finn can fly at incredible speeds but he has to be holding onto the staff otherwise he was fall out of the air.
Force: This magic allows Finn to move things with an invisible magic force and he can also send things flying with a wave of this force as well as pull things toward him.
Blue Fire Magic: Thanks to his blue dragon blood, Finn is very skilled in Fire magic and is able to use powerful fire spells that creates magical blue colored fire.
Charms: This power grants Finn the power to conjure many things with his magic such as create flowers, make bubbles and alter aspects of certain things.
Transfiguration: Finn can transform things into something else entirely, although this ability works better on inanimate objects.

Eldritch Tentacles: Because of his mother's side of the family's ties to ancient warlocks, Finn is able to summon large tentacles to attack his enemies, but he has very little control over this magical ability and it usually only activates when he is angry.
Skill(s): Finn has a great knowledge of magic and is very well read. He also has a good amount of experience battling supernatural beings.
Abilities: Although he is not very proficient in unarmed combat, he very good at fighting with his staff and his magical senses allow him to be extremely perceptive.
Weapons/Gadgets: He wields an ancient sorcery [url=http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/eb_gallery/82145.jpg]staff[/url] that was said to be made by great dragons, and allows him focus his power and control it more effectively. If he becomes seperated from his staff then his powers weaken and become harder to use and aren't focused.
History: Finn was the newest prodigy in long of sorcerers who bared the blood of the blue dragon Gannor. The blood of a dragon is gift that some dragons give sorcerers which grant great magical powers and gives them an affinity for the element of the dragon's breath weapon. His father's side of the family was from Ireland where many powerful sorcerer druids once hailed from. His father had tried to keep his ties to sorcery a secret when he was born, out of fear of Finn being harmed by the dangers of the magical world with a name like his. But when word spread around the dark parts of the magical world, that another son of the Mcgill line had been born, Finn became a target for some of the most dangerous evil sorcerers in in magic. 

They attacked his mother and father, and despite his father putting up a good fight, they were both killed. It was in these moments of grief that Finn lashed out in anger and several tentacles appeared and killed several of the wicked sorcerers. But he was quickly overpowered and was sure that this was the end. That was until he was saved by Phantom Stranger and taken under his wing as his apprentice. It was then that he learned of the dark history of his mother's family and why he was able to summon those tentacles earlier. He was part Warlock and had some of their dark power. Under Phantom Stranger's tutelage, Finn began his training in the arts of sorcery and he advanced pretty quickly over the course of a few years.
