She felt bad for her lack of free time... it sounded a lot like his. he rarely had it, and when he did, it wasn't that much fun, especially when she said she spent time with Tony. He had respect for the guy now... but he can be more than a handful for people, especially women. Steve watched her talk, and as she did she still had a sniffle and some tears running down her face... he didn't mean for her to cry. He didn' tknow she would actually have feelings for him (he hoped, and loved the time they had, but after her big reveal, it was just something he didn't know anymore). He sighed and walked for the door, but instead of going through it, he gently took it from her grasp, and closed it. "I hate it when a pretty girl cries..." He said gently, taking his thumb, and gently wiping the tears off her face. "Im glad to see i'm not the only one who keeps to the old traditions..." Steve Rogers kept his thumb on her cheek.
