Not the worst premise I've seen, but there are some issues with this thread. There is virtually no background information on the world, what's going on or anything else, and no guidelines for adding to the setting - prospective players have nothing to work with, except for a few mysterious lines that mean nothing to them. Furthermore, you're asking for 800 words per post. Personally, I don't really see that as a problem, except that your introductory post is far shorter than 800 words itself. That's counting the rules, and everything under Character Info. Looking just at the prose, there's less than 300, and I don't think that's going to instill a lot of confidence in most people.
