Sorry for the double post. Also, sorry for the lateness of this post, got dragged out to do some shopping with the family suddenly X_X Anyway, here's my master for Saber. --- [*]Name: Gwyndolyn “Gwyn” Pantheon[/*] [*]Age: 20[/*] [*]Gender: Male[/*] [*]Nationality: Arabic, but his bloodline dates back to the Mesopotamian era[/*] [*]Race: Human[/*] [*]Height/Weight: 5’11, and 176lbs[/*] [*]Personality: Cool and awesome… or, that is what he wants to be. Unbreakable courage, and unbreakable willpower, he normally charges forward straight in to protect those near him, even if they are complete strangers for that is simply how he acts based on impulse; he simply cannot let people get hurt no matter who they are. He is someone who would be willing to sacrifice himself in order to protect others without a moment’s hesitation. A bit devoted and overprotective. Gwyn can also be quite unusual when it comes to social conversations, talking to even the most unlikely of people about the most random of topics.[/*] [*]Weapon: Pantheon; Sun Blade of Shamash[/*] [*]Abilities: Pantheon is a powerful blade that was crafted from ancient metals and ores from Gwyn’s family ages ago back in the Mesopotamian era. While he himself is just an average magus with above-average magic circuits, he is skilled in swordsmanship and who also taught himself how to use Pantheon through training and meditation. Pantheon is a magical sword that glows brighter the stronger the more powerful the user’s emotions are set on a goal; for example, if Gwyn wants to desperately protect all of those around him, Pantheon will glow extremely bright before firing a crescent slash of bright amber flames into the direction, harming only those who Gwyn sees as his targets. Gwyn has to use his entire mana reserves in order to activate its fullest power, leaving him in a bed ridden state and unable to supply his Servant with mana properly for approximately a day. If he pushes himself to use it again while even in this state, it would cost him his life. Other than that, he knows reinforcement magic that allows him to hold his own against a Servant.[/*] [*]History/Background: Born and raised in the Arabic deserts in a backwater village in the middle of nowhere, Gwyn was the younger brother of the head miner who had to help find silver in order help keep their village striving. It was peaceful, while at the same time bitter. There was barely enough food and water to go around, and the scorching heat during the day was more than enough want one to call it quits; for Gwyn, however, he found it fun and warm, much to the villagers’ surprise. Everyone called him the child of the sun, for he was always full of energy and was always bright no matter what. Still, despite his bright attitude, it could not help the tragedies that would happen in his small home village. Week after week, bandits and raiders would come seeking to plunder the village of both their food and of their women till their hearts content. Armed with weapons, the bandits could do whatever they wanted compared to the villagers who were weak and frail. Every week, Gwyn would watch as the raiders came and as his people suffered… yet there was nothing that he could do despite the burning urges inside of him wanting to do something. It was only when his own sister was targeted did he decide to finally take a stand and do something… but there was nothing that he could do. After having their thrill, the bandits killed his sister. He had tasted what it felt like to lose something precious to him, and it was bitter. He didn’t want to lose anyone else… but he continued to do so. The next week, he lost his neighbors, and the week after that he lost his childhood friends. The month afterword, he lost his older brother. After that, he decided that enough was enough, and that he had to find something to protect those dear to him, even if it would cost him his life. There was a rumor, you see, in the village of a powerful weapon left by the god Shamash called Pantheon in the very mines that they were working in. Going in by himself with what little bread and water he had, he explored the mines for six days and six nights… only for him to find an altar. There, a sword was plunged deep into the ground with ancient carvings of an old civilization. The blade of the sword, however, was untouched by time. Pulling out the blade, Gwyn suddenly fell unconscious, only to awaken shortly after outside of the mines to find that his village had been destroyed. The women placed on pikes, the men burned in a bonfire, and all the supplies being devoured by the hungry pigs. Facing him, the bandits, laughed as they saw the sword and pointed their guns at his direction and began walking towards him. Something inside of him was burning, and he could feel that his body wanted to move on its own… which he allowed. He took a stance, and swung the blade… only for a gunshot to be heard a moment later, and for him to blackout. When he next woke up, he found himself in a bed, with a nice woman tending to him and his wounds. Gwyn had asked him where he was at and what had happened, and she told him. Apparently while the woman was traveling with an escort, she came across the ravaged village and saw the scorched bodies of the raiders, and him wielding Pantheon. She decided to take him with him and tended to him wounds to hear his side of the story. From then on, Gwyn lived with the woman to repay his debt by learning to serve as a guard and a royal escort, before deciding to go off on his own to protect those who can’t protect themselves as to prevent what had happened to his village. He was going to be the sword of the people… a sword of justice that would cut down evil.[/*] [*]Assets: His holy sword, Pantheon; a fair sum of money from working as a bodyguard for the woman who saved his life, and an apartment that he has rented in Septum.[/*]
