Personality: He is very quiet and reserved. Good humored and personable once you get to know him. He takes honor very seriously and has no problem killing. His face rarely shows emotion. So the few times he is humorous it is taken as serious or sarcasm. He distrusts most people and gaining his trust is difficult to do. He does have a soft spot for animals and believes most are better than people. 

Biography: Born into a blacksmithing family, Jin learned the trade quickly and was hailed as a great blacksmith. One day a wandering Samurai rode through town. His horse had thrown a shoe and he was in need of a new one. After re-shoeing the man's horse, the wandering Samurai informed Jin he could not pay. Jin, thinking on his feet asked the samurai if he could teach him how to be a noble warrior. Not having any pressing matters to attend to, the Samurai agreed.
For the next few months Jin learned the art on Kendo and Jujitsu. While learning fighting the Samurai drilled into Jin's head that respect and honor are the most important to a samurai. The day before the mysterious Samurai left, he helped jin forge a katana. Because a warrior is not a warrior without a great weapon.

Other: He still searches for the Samurai who trained him.
