Ewww, Kei, characters like that turn me away from a series entirely - unless they get their deserved smackdown at some point. Dx Seriously lol. It's annoying to have to put up with them irl, so seeing them in fiction too is insta-no.

EDIT: Posted! The circus is a bit of a walk away (maybe like half an hour's worth if not a tad more, I'd think), but since we have Eric in the crew now, I think it's cool if we have a round of walkin-&-talkin before the Pride hits the circus, rather than time skip over the dialogue they'd have with him.
