Vegeta hadn't thought of it that way, suddenly building those scouters seemed a great deal easier. He still hadn't the knowledge of how one actually worked but at least he knew now that producing them was a relatively simple job. "Eventually you'll have new technology conflicting with the old however. You can't upgrade old tech forever, something has to give at some point. Perhaps its time you begin putting research into new models? I could even help, I've got plenty of funds, albeit that would mean we would have to do the work on Earth. If you don't mind that stipulation I would be more than happy to be a benefactor for your work." Anything that meant the advancement of technology he would try to put his two cents worth in. Unlike some of his business ventures this was a very promising investment, even if a bit of a ways off in reality. With the potential of dozens of aliens interacting however it would be almost mandatory for scouters to be distributed to provide communications, and their devices could be just the thing they would need. Smiling at Sayomi knowingly Vegeta waved a hand dismissively, giving a light chuckle. "I'm well aware of the risks, and I would employ people to ensure as much safety as possible. I am a businessman on the side. I just often can't be bothered with it all, compared to this it's so droll. And the reason I keep humanity from traveling the galaxy? Humans are inherently weak, even with the knowledge of Ki at their disposal. It would be too risky for them right now to become part of the universal community, I think." No matter what way you sliced it the notion of more Beastmen wandering around was bad. They would either be rampant, killed for any number of shortcomings or made to live a terrible existence. It was beyond selfish that the King was willing to do something like this, to the point where Vegeta was sickened by it. "If we don't see to it before this is over, all of their work has to be destroyed. We can't allow people to create life on a whim like this, or to change people to make them tools. I hate to erase any kind of information, but the problems this research poses are far too risky to let exist." Even if the King were defeated there was no guarantee the work would stop, someone would get a hold of it for nefarious purposes. Tracking down all of the scientists responsible would be one matter entirely, let alone trying to destroy any traces of their work. "It'll be a hollow victory if planets are constantly in danger of being ransacked by manic Beastmen. I can't imagine Viral is going to appreciate our doing it, but we need to find a way to snuff this problem out sooner rather than later." "Every plan has a weakness, even the best laid out ones..." Korian remarked, sighing as he rubbed at his head. He expected Viral to find holes in his strategies, and he was glad the Beastman had. While some of it he had considered before there was a bit of new insight that really got the rebel thinking. It would be impossible to cover all bases in reality, they couldn't know what the enemy was doing. And if the enemy became panicked during the battle it was nigh impossible to predict a frantic enemy. "Unfortunately we lack anything with stealth capabilities. We had one before but lost it in a skirmish, and the technology for that is difficult to come by. Stealth then isn't going to work, not in the traditional sense. It would have to be someone circling around and avoiding the enemy while the main forces engage, IF we have someone slip by, that is." Having a ship go in alone was incredibly risky, as they could easily become overwhelmed. If forces could get on the ground it would disrupt everything above the planet though, giving them the edge. "A small ship... You all still have that cargo vessel of yours, don't you? We could use that as a scouting craft. It should be just small enough to avoid radar and quick enough to evade the enemy. I'm sure we could find a crew willing to take on that task. Still... I don't believe our strategies are as good as they could be yet, we need more time to work them out." Takeshi wasn't really thrilled about Shu fighting their father, even if he did want his brother there at the same time. The King was going to be a scary strong opponent, the risk of losing someone against him was high enough as it was. He remembered their first time meeting the man when they went after Viral, how just his presence alone had beaten them. Sure they were stronger now, but he probably was too. "I know you're not weak Shu, but... Father's on a whole different level than anyone we've fought before. I don't know if I can keep you safe from him." Hell, Takeshi wasn't so sure he could keep himself safe, let alone anyone else. The closer they were getting to this the more he was beginning to feel nerves. He never got like this around an opponent before, not once in his life. Sure he got uneasy around T'charrl but that was for a whole different reason, the Kaesstrian wasn't absurdly powerful. Hoping to help both Shu and himself the older boy reached out, pulling Shu into a one armed hug. "Maybe Yumi should help us with both of ours. Anger management has never been my thing really. Honestly I never really thought I had a problem until recently." With no one around he never thought any of his behavior was wrong, it was only with the introduction of Shu and the others he had tried to change himself. "She does do an awesome job of helping people, doesn't she?"
