That sounds awesome. Basically (as I was gonna reveal whenever my character gets back to Kantle) her mother is ill, on her deathbed, and her father, who is a Knight of Kantle and a generally horrible guy who abused her as a child, has taken up with some other younger woman from Kantle. Your character could either be that chicks kid, or one of his previous women. Its up to you whether he would have anything to do with your character or not. You would have to be half-sister on my father's side, but your mother could be from anywhere :)
