Rue bounces up and down on the balls of his feet, glancing over at the immobile Inui. 'He's not gonna move from here willingly, so. . .Well, food is normally good to calm down, and I'm sure Cho would like to know what's going on, after all he's part of the group now. He may not be around a lot, but I can tell he cares what happens' Looking up at Rasha with wide eyes the little fairy tries to communicate his agreement with Starla, adding a glance to Inui before shifting closer to the stressed nightmare minion. Rasha blinks, a little confused, but after a few seconds he seems to get the idea. Looking over at Inui he sighs softly, ruffling his hair with one hand before turning to nod at Starla. “Yeah, let's go tell Cho what's up. A full belly may do a lot of good around here. . .” The plant sibling looks up at the trickster, her usual caution around the beast flaring for a moment, however after a good hard look she huffs, glancing at the door to Seishu's room before leading the way towards the palace kitchen. Meanwhile Rue stays at Inui's side, his level of upset a little too high for hugs, so he contents himself with standing just close enough for their arms to touch gently. ~*~*~*~*~ Crios and Harper look to one another, the report sending up many red flags, and ones that need to be addressed immediately. They look to one another before Harper dismisses Finn with a wave. The youth looks between them for a second, confused, however he trusts the older males and with only a moment's hesitation, he leaves. ~*~*~*~*~ Not spotting his sister right away, and the notable absence of the little trickster makes his already frayed nerves jump a little. However Rue explains quickly where they have gone. Glancing at the disturbed little nightmare minion Finn lets out a sigh before thanking Rue and heading off after his sister and Rasha. 'We may be part of the group, but somehow, I do not feel we are needed right now. We should do what we can to help, and in this moment, being there is not one of them' He sighs again, coming swiftly around a corner to spot his targets half way down the hall. ~*~*~*~*~ As the door closes and Finn's footfalls fade the two one more look to one another and it is Crios that breaks the silence. “We can't leave him alone here.” “I know, the two little ones are outside the door.” Harper replies, looking towards thee light outlined carved wood. He adds, “However, I think Rue should. . .” “I agree.” Crios knows what Harper is talking about, for the first time in a long time the both of them very much on the same page. There is no playful banter, there is no hint of humor in their words. The effect of Seishu's leak is enough to make both have to work hard to simply remain somber rather than spiraling downwards where their hearts are trying to lead. With one last check of his patient Crios comes around the bed and heads for the door. As he pulls even with the giant rabbit, Harper turns and falls in step at his side. Slipping out into the hall the doctor gives the two little minions a soft smile. They both clamber forward, Inui coming out of his funk at the sight of the foxy doctor. Just as Rue opens his mouth to start asking questions Crios imitates what he's seen Seishu do, holding up his hand gently to stem the flow of words from the little fairy. In a soft voice he says, “He is sleeping peacefully, no real damage done, he just got a little over loaded and lost his primal temper as I call it. However he'll be more relaxed now when he wakes, which shouldn't be too long since I gave him the counter drug.” Crouching down so that his tail it touching the floor slightly he shifts forward so he can take Inui's hands in his own. The little minion's stress seems to evaporate and tears spring up into those scarlet orbs. “I have a job for you. I need you to go in there and sit with him. It's safe, so you can even snuggle like I know you like to, and if he wakes up before we get back, which he might, I need you to do your best to insist he stay put. I have the feeling that he may want to get up. . .” Harper is a little amazed at the sudden soft and caring tone in the doctor's voice, however as he watches he realizes that it must be his way with dealing with little ones. 'He is a doctor after all, which means he has to treat children's injuries now and again. That would take a softer hand than how he deals with Night, however. . .He's never treated Rue like this. . . But then again Rue can bounce back easily' Harper recalls that on the report from one of the trips into the human realm how one of the minion's had confessed that a nightmare minion's negative emotions run rampant can destroy the being. 'They naturally have so much negative energy, and Inui hasn't had the training to keep them in check' Inui nods slowly, glancing over at Rue. Harper decides to speak up on that. “We need Rue with us Inui. He's going to help us on something important.” Rue looks up curiously, but rather than questioning the general he turns and gives Inui a big hug, placing a little peck on the taller male's cheek. Inui flushes just as he use to, letting Harper and Crios know that he's recovering. “It's okay Inui, we'll be back, and everything will be alright!” His usual cheerful tone makes the red eyed male relax and with a little bow he vanishes off into the shielded room. As soon as the other is out of sight however Rue's face becomes serious. “What do you need from me?” Crios sighs softly, standing up. Motioning that they should walk as they talk he sets off, his words low when at last he begins speaking. “Seishu showed up out of nowhere, practically begging me to knock him out. The pain he was in was probably accidental, and he couldn't deal with it alone. I am sure Lord Enasi thinks he had something to do with it, and maybe even feels guilty, so we need to talk to him. . .” Harper realizes that Crios is unable to say the rest aloud, so he adds, “Finn just went to talk to Lord Enasi, and he refused to come check on Seishu. . .” The little minion looks very confused, and a little hurt at the news, however he remains silent, falling deep into thought on the little tidbits of information he just received. They are all quiet as they approach the medical wing central, and as they come close Harper takes Rue's arm and the two of them wait outside. Crios enters alone, their lord still telling his story. Crios steels himself for what he's about to do and just as eyes begin turning his way he smiles at the room softly, taking long strides to his guardian's side. Without a word he slips a hand around Enasi's upper am and carefully brings him to his feet. There are many objections from the patients, wanting to hear more, however one look from the stern doctor and they all falls silent. Ignoring any objection that may come from Enasi he carefully walks the red head out into the hall and without a word, Harper steps to the guardian’s other side, only lending a hand if needed. Once they are a goodly distance from any of the palace staff Crios lets Enasi go and both he and Harper go to stand by Rue, one to either side. The two of them look calm, unruffled despite their current taint of negative energy, and with a calm tone Harper says softly. “Lord Enasi? Tell Rue why you refused to see Seishu.” The little fairy's eyes seem to light a little, coming to rest on the guardian more firmly as he awaits his answer, and knowing he needs to stay strong, not taking the surface answer. ~*~*~*~*~ Inui slips into the room. Darker than the hallway his eyes take a moment to adjust. Once he is sure not to bump into anything he races across the room, stopping just short of the bed. His finger splay softly over the covers, looking down at his guardian with feelings flitting through his chest he didn't even know he could feel. The pull and ache and throb is enough to once more bring tears to his eyes, however after a few calming breaths he manages to stay calm. Mounting the bed slowly he creeps over to his side of the sleeping guardian and without a sound settle in right against his pale arm resting atop the blankets.
