Tanya nodded, the grim reality of their lifestyles setting in. "Hiding it would be impossible. Having a family would be even harder. Especially if he ever got seriously hurt. I mean that's the far future and stuff. But in the immediate future there's the simple fact that because we can see them, they come to us. Getting someone else involved is irresponsible." The teen girl knew this all too well. She'd rejected boys in the past, coming up with a variety of outlandish excuses such as she was a lesbian or she was arranged to be married.
