Gren's time at the garden was cut short for the test. Carefully he rose from his seated position and looked towards the airships. He gulped once. "It is time." Gren approached the airship, patiently moving through the crowds to a place where he could sit. This was nerve wracking; his first test, the dangers, the excitement. The thrill of the fight and the chance of death. It was a pleasure that Gren has little chance to part take in, not since so long ago. He grinned at the idea of going through such passionate emotions once again. The ride to Forever Fall too forever, if Gren was the type to make such puns. In actuality it wasn't that long, but the tension in the air did make it seem like it took a day at least. Gren had been working on The God Eater during the trip, calibrating it's systems and ensuring that it won't malfunction during the test. The last thing he needed was for it to jam or overheat. Forever Fall itself was breathtaking, and very red. It almost reminded him of home, and how the grass was always covered with the blood of his kin and of their enemies. Gren shook his thoughts away from the past however, and focused on the present. After a portly teacher was finished/interrupted with his story, another teacher briefly described what they had to do. "Zipline hmm? I bet there's a catch to this..." Gren stood up, putting his helmet onto his head and picking out his song. He felt that this song was most appropriate. Soon students began to line up and zip down to the testing grounds. Gren couldn't wait, but as he did, he looked around. He wondered who would be his partner, who he would find in the forest to fight along side him. His eyes, for a moment, met with another; a human girl, smaller than him. She was... Attractive. Gren diverted his eyes quickly. "Keep calm old boy... Eyes on the hunt, not the horizon." Gren took one more deep breath as his song continued. He was next. It seemed that everyone had to devise some way to get down the ziplines, as not all of them had handles which they could simply grasp and slide down. Luckily for Gren, he needed none. He simply reached up and took a firm grip of the zipline with his armored hand. In his other, he held The God Eater. He was going in hot; anything that stood in his way was going to be cut down. Before he went, he turned around to look for that girl. He saw her, once, and wondered who she was. If she could be his partner. Turning back towards Forever Fall, Gren steeled his resolve and lifted his feet off the ground. His own weight was more than enough to pull his body down the zipline. While others may have lost their hands if they tried to merely grip the zipline all the way down, Gren's Gauntlet was made of sterner stuff than most, and allowed him to survive the trip down with no issue. His mind, for now, did not focus or worry about anything like the objective of the test, the girl who he saw, or even how he was going to land if there was more to this zipline than simply a means of going down from the check point. All he cared about for the moment was who would be the first to be consumed by The God Eater.
