And just for what it's worth, if you'd like your character to introduce him or herself? Or just sit there in his/her seat and stew about being shy and not wanting to say anything? Well that works too. If you don't want a post like that, just say so here and we can certainly move on when everyone's ready :)

eta: and it's already been a long day here, and I may or may not be running on 3 hours or so of sleep, because *test anxiety* I'm going to get up a couple more pertinent CS's today like I said, but mostly just sit here and watch the pretty shadow patterns on my walls from the forest.
