"I think I saw one... I was sitting on a bench by the fountain and it popped up underneath me." He glanced back, looking at the bench he was sitting on. "I managed to see it for a moment, but then it burrowed back into the ground." He figured this was not normal, but at least the creature had appeared to be harmless.
