When wielded normally, Kuhaku uses them as a simple sword and shield specializing in balanced, close-ranged combat. However, the two weapons have the unique ability of fusing into a single, larger weapon in the form of a giant axe for a more powerful, albeit slower, combat style focused on mid-range offense. In its Great Axe form, Kuhaku refers to it by 'Sundering Horizon'. 

Semblance: Sensory Manipulation - He can manipulate any of the known senses and alter them in order to create complex illusions and mental tricks. Such as creating copies of himself, distorting the outline and look of his body, and even a form of 'active camouflage' as a few examples..
