The laugh wasn’t a ‘oh my god Lexi you look ridiculous’ laugh like he would give her back in middle school when she would give longing-eyes to boys she thought she wanted to be with. Isn’t it funny how wrong she was back then? But now, she couldn’t be happier. Even sitting next to Peter, he was still a good head taller than her so even as she sat up straight, he had to slouch a bit to get their faces next to each other as he held out the camera. During his count down, she twitched her nose to get rid of the on-coming sniffle she could feel and that’s when he snapped at his extremely quick ‘two three’! “Hey!” She said in a playful tone. She should have known and now he has a picture of his girlfriend scrunching up her face in an attempt to stop it from bothering her. Typical goofy Peter, always catching her off guard; should she have expected something else, nah. “Evil Peter’s never gone, he lays dormant and waits for his moment to attack me with random snapshots of me doing… whatever.” Of course she had to say ‘whatever’ because narrowing down exactly what Peter took pictures of when it came to people, places or things could best be described as ‘whatever’. ‘Do whatever’ was his favorite phrase to say to her when she’d model for him. It’s funny how ‘whatever’ turned into some pretty good shots. The kiss he gave her should have melted all the snow around them and brought upon spring. She completely forgot that he was snapping photos of them kissing much like she took when they first got together. Only this time they weren’t above time square, he wasn’t in his suit and she had super powers too. Sure it was a bit different but one thing surely didn’t change; and that was their feelings for each other. Lexi pulled back from the kiss before she was tempted to knock him to the ground, the last thing she wanted was to mess up his camera and brand new lens. Laying her forehead against her boyfriends she gave him a cheesy playful grin. “So my parents are out of town for a convention this weekend. Do you think you want to come over and spend a night or two?” Her grin turned into a playful biting of her lower lip; sure sometimes it was controllable and sometimes it wasn’t but this time, it was on purpose.
