As you can imagine, Sharon was on cloud 9 kissing Steve. The tingle of awkwardness faded slightly as she realized that even though Steve was from the era in which he was, her aunt has passed and her aunt married someone else when her love was gone. It wasn’t a bad thing for one must move on when they think the one they love is dead. Her uncle treated her aunt amazing and her aunt seemed happy but not as happy as when she was about to pass… did that mean that Steve visited her before she died? Not wanting to think about it anymore, Sharon focused only on the man in front of her. When she was just about to lean into him more, he pulled back and her blue eyes flickered open to look up at him. She nodded softly as he talked. He had been through a lot and now it was easier on him with technology and the knowledge now held by the present day public; life is a lot easier. The only thing that threw her off was when he said that he didn’t want any more S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in his life more than what he got at work. And while she could relate, a look of realization came over her face as she slowly turned her gaze away from him. “When Director Fury finds out I told you who I am, he’ll have me moved. And probably replaced with someone else who knows who you are and still will want to follow orders… But,” A small sigh left her, the realization that she’d be asking Steve to lie was upon her and she didn’t want to back him into a corner like that. They’d just have to pretend like they knew each other as Captain America and Agent 13 at work, Nick Fury couldn’t know that he was aware of her identity and her purpose of being across the hall but… well she didn’t want to have him have that linger on his mind. Then again, Fury might never ask if she told him or not. She wasn’t that high on his radar and it really only came up when she brought it up. “if that does happen, it’s not going to stop me from coming over and seeing you.
