He didn’t shake on it! The dick! She was about to retort to him, ready to demand that he shake her hand before the sounds of angry men calling out a mixture of names that weren’t anything in relation to Peter, Quill or Star-Lord, the two unlikely pair hurried through the streets to the ship bay. The look on her face was one of surprise to see such a nice ship awaiting them. Blue eyebrow cocked upwards as she followed him up the ramp in a hurry and she followed him to the cockpit, her bag firmly over her shoulder as they began to rise away from the fist-shaking and gun-firing me on the ground before they shout out into the atmosphere which wasn’t exactly the smoothest ride so Nikki fell into a near-by sit and strapped in for the impact of the takeoff and breaking through the atmosphere. When he turned to her and stretched out his arms welcoming her to his ship, she looked at him with slightly wide eyes. She had never been in a ship that had such an intense take off and that could easily be read on the expression on her face. Hopefully they wouldn’t need to take off often. The ships the Metras built were a lot smoother with their take offs but they never really mastered the intense gunfire, they typically were used for stealth. So this, this was a little different… Upon his exit, she sat there, taking in a couple deep breathes to calm herself before unbuckling herself and standing upwards. Walking back to what could best be described as a dining area she let out a small sigh and placed her bag on the table. How many rooms did this thing have? Was she going to have a bed? That would be nice, and kind of nice to have a place to call her own that wasn’t a cot. Nikki was at least kind enough to leave him to his bunk room instead of following him into the room to ask him about what they were going after and where they were going. Sitting down at the table she placed her bag gently on top of the slightly cluttered table before pulling the sword from her back and placing it with the utmost care onto the table in front of her. Her hand danced softly along the sheath. The last thing she had have of her father’s lay before her and the last thing of her mother’s was a simple gold necklace with a little blue stone in the middle about the size of a nickel. All of her people now gone, and the only one left is forced to collecting bounties and trades in order to get by; what a sad existence. She was ripped out of her thoughts by a sudden ring and the appearance of a face on the screen near her. In her fright she jumped and hit a cup which tumbled into a bowl which threw a spoon and landed on the answer button with a beautiful splatter of purple liquid onto the side of the screen. “Uh… Quill, you have a phone call…” Nikki called over her shoulder not taking her eyes off of the blue man; she was rather shocked to see someone who was blue. That was slightly new for her. Yondu on the other end of the screen stared at the girl as she stared at him back. “Your hair is blue girl.” He said in a simple tone only to get a simple retort from her of, “Your skin is blue sir.” Obviously her seeing someone with blue skin and he seeing someone with blue hair seemed to surprise both of them. In Nikki’s mind she couldn’t understand why her having blue hair would be a surprise, and in his mind him having blue skin shouldn’t be a shock. Funny how encounters are huh?
