There're plenty of Lords who use swords, one who uses a lance (Ephraim), and one who uses an axe (Hector) as far as signature weapons go. Then Lyn, when promoted, wields bows as a secondary, Eliwood and Sigurd have Lances as a secondary, Ike has Axes as a secondary, but no magic, unless you count either of the Avatars, who aren't lords, but still major characters.
