"I guess you're right, as always," Toku said with a sigh. He hated it when Jael was right, which was to his dismay rather often. Jael was always the voice of reason, and although Toku found it infuriating, he also appreciated having someone like that around. It made him feel safe, somehow, in all this strangeness; to have one who could make sense of things in a more grown-up way than Toku ever thought he'd be able to. He decided that he would try to take the Avatar thing seriously. Jael kept insisting he really was the Avatar, and what Jael said usually had some merit to it. "I don't really know much about the Avatar. All I know is from stories, which isn't a whole lot. Do you know anything? What's the Avatar supposed to do? If it turns out that I am the Avatar, I should have some sort of idea what's expected."
