Nishiki Kalemoru "Hhmm..." Laying on her back, the softness of her bed cradled her body as Nishiki watched the ceiling. Her mind was however elsewhere, making her unaware of her surrounding for a few moments. After silence filled her room for a while, Nishiki suddenly sat up, her hands placed on her bed as her back arched forward a little, eyes to the floor. An idea had came to mind, but instead of her usual cheerful smile being plastered on her face whenever she gained an idea, there was distance behind her eyes while her face was empty without any trace of emotion. Of course this was odd for Nishiki, but the reason behind her behaviour was a rather serious to her after all. Standing, Nishiki grabbed her Zanpakuto and strapped it to her body before leaving the room without a sound. Seeping through the cracks of Squad Eleven members, Nishiki kept quiet, moving as fast as possible without rushing; basically walking briskly. Once outside, she travelled the area she had in mind, flattening her perky attitude to not draw any attention to herself for once, even when she spotted familiar faces.... Instead of greeting them and getting in to some small talk before getting back to her task, she ignored them fully. 'Here it is... Woooow, looks... Grand? Yeah, grand!' Eyeing the building for a moment, Nishiki stepped inside to find herself already surrounded by shelves and more shelves stacked to the heavens with an extremely, almost seemingly impossible, vast variety of books. "Wow, I already fell smarter!-" "-Shhhh!" Nishiki looked over to her left to find a desk, a Shingami behind it sending her a sharp dirty look. Nishiki looked at the guy, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. "Oh right, I forgot I'm meant t-" "Young lady this is a Library! Be quiet or get out." Harsh words were angrily whispered by the librarian followed by another dirty looked. Nishiki pouted at this, finding the hostile behaviour rather mean and uncalled for. "Alright alright, I'm sorry sheesh..." Nishiki whispered back before directing her attention back to the shelves. 'Well... What I'm looking for has to be somewhere in here, that's almost certain' Taking further steps inwards, Nishiki began scanning the shelves, finding there to be way too many books to scroll through... 'Hnnng, I'm never going to find what I want!' About two shelves in, Nishiki felt like taking a break for now and starting again later, she was too impatient to be searching shelves for more than 30 minutes at a time. Instead, Nishiki decided to grab a book that was way far off what she was looking for.... but the title seemed of grabbed her interest. 'Hmmm... A Trapped Flower, the memoirs of a wife who yearned for freedom after being forced into marrying a mad man.... Well, could be an interesting story' While admiring the caged and slightly withered Orchid illustration on the front of the book , Nishiki found herself a seat in one of the more empty quiet areas... well, more or less empty since there were only about three people within this area. She planked her bottom down in a seat before opening the book and flicking to the first page. Making it to the third page, her eyes continued to scan the writing. Nishiki found herself gripped into the cluster of words, wondering what might happen next after every passage. It wasn't until she turned the page, momentarily back to reality when she spotted the guy she sat opposite from. Nishiki raised an eyebrow while watching the guy read from over the top of her book, however she kept quiet, still planning to get back into the story soon... She was just distracted by the guy's hairstyle. 'Hmm, he looks cute, but with hair like that, I bet he's a little hmm, maybe the hostile type? Smart but mean maybe? Hmmm...' She didn't mean to but it seemed as though Nishiki's trait to be easily distracted made her more interested in figuring out the guy across from her instead of returning to her story.
