Things to know 1. I don't want anything to do with someone, who's going to be touchy, okay? I dislike losing friends because said person bruises easily(and I mean really easy), if you're the kind of person who's gonna flip your lid over nothing, then don't even bother, I've had it with people who get offended easily, it hurts too much to lose friends cause of that. I'm serious 2. High fantasy, and mature, though I'm open to other ratings 3. I really want someone who can do a high level of writing, I get tired of people who can't come up with their own plot, or write a decent amount in response(to often large posts from myself), unless character's are in the middle of dialogue it is NOT acceptable to write only one paragraph, that's insane, I'm looking for meat, content, I'm tired of sampling mere appetizers 4. Via PM, and if you're interested please PM me, don't message me here, I'll probably not see it 5. I like someone I can just casually chat with, if you're someone who isn't interested in talking, then go away, I like to make friends with my roleplay partners 6. I'm a gamer, and I also have my job, college and a baby to take care of, so if I'm not responding immediately, I'm sorry, sometimes I also need time to think of a post _______________ To the plots
In the beginning of the world, there was no light, only the eternal darkness of the Void, within this endless night lay hundreds of worlds, no one knows where they came from, how they came to being, indeed even those ancient beings who hailed from that long ago past do not know, but this story only concerns one of these small worlds. This world is known better as Terrestria, a small world amidst hundreds of others in the Great Outer Dark as many call it, otherwise known as 'space' or the 'Void' to scholars, a sea of endless darkness wherein this world lies, and for a very long time there was no light in the universe, and men were small and weak things, suffering horribly in the cold and darkness, and most importantly at the hands of those that stalked the night. They are the Nightstalkers, the Voidwalkers, Incubi and Succubi, and other names are given to these ancient beings, but they are most commonly known as vampires, beings perfectly evolved for hunting prey in darkness. For many centuries they hunted and preyed on other races, including man, for humans were not the only species to evolve. Eventually the suffering of three races that had survived the predations of the Voidwalkers became too much, and they cried out in one voice, and to their astonishment...something answered them, a brilliant shining light pierced the heavens with a flash of brilliant, overwhelming light that blinded many mortals and vampire alike, from then on the Age of Darkness was over. The Age of Starfire had begun, the brilliant light of these shining orbs giving heat, life and protection to mortals, and driving away evil beings, but alas, true light could never be obtained, for with light to combat the eternal night came disparity, heat and cold, life and death, and of course light and dark. A balance had to be maintained, and so the light could only stay for a set amount of time, for there is no light without shadow. Life has proceeded since then, but all wonder where the light came from, and who was the benefactor of mortal kind? Many religions have sprung up at this question, as well as many scholars and mages trying to find the answer, but to this day, the question remains at large... ____________________ Nowadays, the world of Terrestria, despite the many centuries that have passed since the light came, remains largely unexplored, as it is still a dangerous and harsh land, that proves unkind to the weak. Thus this story is only concerned with the land to the north, where the first humans originally made their home, a land of swaying pines, swirling snow and towering peaks, filled with dangerous creatures and untamed wilderness. The people of this land are a hardy, honorable and self-driven people, who value strength and self-sufficiency. It is in this land, that our story begins, a story about a very old, and lonely vampire. For this man, a scene of death lay stretched before him, the blood from fresh corpses trickling out, steaming in the cold as the winter's first snows begin to come down, slowly freezing into red ice, the scent of blood had drawn him here, and here he finds the dying form of a beautiful woman, her lifeblood leaking out. Kneeling down, he gazes at her, and without knowing fully why lifts her up and gives her the kiss of the night, granting her his blood, the blood of a Voidwalker to save her life, and make her one of his kind....
___________
"Princess!" Comes the shout of one of the Captains of the Guard, expression harried, fearful and desperate as his men try desperately to fend off the attacking enemies "We don't know who they are! But they're after you! Me and my men will cover your retreat, but you must flee!" It's not known who they are, what they want, do they want her dead? Or do they want her for some other purpose? It doesn't matter, as right at that moment, the only important thing in the minds of her loyal retainers is getting her to safety, away from this ambush, but the situation is grim and looks rather hopeless... Who could have guessed this would have happened on the way to a neighboring kingdom for her arranged marriage?! Abruptly, one of the attackers falls back with a gurgling scream, blood rushing from a mortal wound to his throat as an arrow suddenly blossoms there, all about them, enemies fall and die from pinpoint fired arrows. But nowhere can the mysterious archer be seen, the sniper nonetheless continues to rain death on her attacker's with ruthless precision. Eventually, after all are dead a man appears, clad in black with a masked face, and a fearsome bow and he tells her "I was hired to protect you by your father, this is my bow...Dread, let all who threaten your safety know its name..." Who is this mysterious assassin turned bodyguard? Can he be trusted with her safety? What are the secrets he keeps from her...?
_______________
Be alert, this is a more mature themed roleplay with some definite smut There are many powers in this world, some for good, and some for evil...and one for evil is most definitely the demonic forces of Chaos, powerful entities from another dimension, who make their realm upon Malvorth, a city on a peninsula, wherein the demon lords and their underlings gather their slaves, the riches and other ill-gotten gains from the many raids and wars they make on other countries. In this city, a sorcerer of chaos goes and seeks a slave, but not for the usual cruel purposes most buy one for, no he has a different one in mind. While normally it would leave a bad-taste in his mouth to do what he is doing, he has yet to find anyone besides his fellow demonic kind to willingly spend time with him, and so he goes to find a body-slave, some beautiful woman or other that he can take to his bed and lay with, but deep down inside, he knows that's not the real reason he does is because he is lonely, and has lived alone for a decade now, and merely wishes for company.
______________
A carnival is coming to town, and not only do they have many different kinds of shows, fun and games, fine food, but they have a wide variety of fantastic creatures to see! But to some, while they may keep quiet...some of these creatures do not appear to be dumb beasts, and to any who might think that... They are right, for some of these caged creatures, are not mere brute animals, one such creature is an ugly, monstrous looking beast who howls his furious anger and hatred at the crowds who point and stare, and then laugh at how the once mighty monster is caged, kept as a pet for their amusement. Can a young noblewomen see past the ugly exterior and see the intelligent mind that lies within?
_________________
At long last, his research had finally culminated into something looked like a piece of perfection, he had studied hard, searching the continent for long lost and long forgotten magics, some of them quite forbidden by society at large, but now he'd succeeded, his hands trembled as he studied his creation... And she studied him, her calm and utterly beautiful face staring back at him, he had managed to create her, a homunculus, a morph using nothing but raw magic and skill to shape her form, he'd even managed to create a mind in that body, which stood patiently in the middle of the magic circle, skin glistening wetly from the shaping process, she was quite unashamed of her nudity and merely waited for instructions. But at the moment, the heretical mage had none, he could scarcely believe it had worked as he studied it, raven black hair, ruby red lips and...golden eyes. He was no fool to think it...no she had no mind, for those eyes stared back into his own with a newly formed intelligent, quizzical and curious. "Can you understand me?" The answer he got back made his heart skip a beat with excitement. "Yes."
