Mika Hayashi Kirigakure Jounin, team 14. Mika stared at Haruhi for a second. A very brief second. Turning around, she gestured that Haruhi should follow her. ''An important mission. We're needed to group at the docks. By now the others would likely get a message as well.'' Mika answered, walking with a steady pace away. She could still feel some of the wounds aching with pain and in a normal situation, she would scold herself for going on a mission like this. It wasn't the condition to go on an operation that she was assigned on. But not going and letting Haruhi face that terror alone? The terror she knew that was planned? No. Mika hadn't die yet and thus was forced to continue to do what she could do. Not any longer to repay for her sins in the past, she would try to atone for it with her life now. Not that she deemed that much that Mika thought it would absolve her past crimes just because she took care of somebody now. That was both arrogant and ignorant. It would wash away the crimes and horrible things she had committed. Even while she had been ordered to do so, she was the one who had often wielded the weapon that killed a person. That had sliced a throat. Gritting her teeth, Mika wondered if she was really going soft. Laughable. Going soft was the last thing she would do. However, the mere thought of Haruhi being in danger.. ''I want that you won't spill a single word about last night. To nobody. Even if the Mizukage orders it you... Just say you know nothing. We will talk later about it. After the mission. I promise.'' Mika said, with a firm voice, still walking towards the docks. For a moment she was glad that they were in Kirigakure. The light mist that was present this early? It was a blessing. The longer she would have to see the escort and whole group that would be there for the mission, the better in Mika's opinion.
