He isn't an asshole(well he has to be, he's an NCO), he's just treating this situation like being downrange(deployed) because essentially having a serious straightforward attitude is needed. If Seth really is a soldier and from what it seems, probably just a Specialist then he should be listening to Mason. Whether he likes it or not, he's the guy that'll make sure he doesn't die, he even tried being nice to him in the beginning o.O, he just blew him off like an asshole. But what I'm getting at is, be logical Dash. Respect the rank, you don't have to respect the man behind it, but respect it. By the way rusty, Mason is better on account of his training and battle experience, he's seen more than Seth by far.
