Magic: Growth/Life - Magic focuses around nature and life, such as rapidly growing and twisting vines and roots, enhancing the size of various organic things, plants of course being the simplest to manipulate. If he's not watching himself too closely, his magic has a passive effect on surrounding plants causing them to immediately bloom. His weapon of choice are spores and seeds of various poisonous plants that are quick to grow on his victims and incapacitate them.

Poison plant life: Summons up a cloud of spore/seeds that take root in his opponent and quickly grow into poisonous mushrooms, mosses, and weeds that sap strength rather rapidly.

Magic mushrooms: Similar to poison plants, except these ones are drugs meant to cause hallucination and general stupidity.

Wall of roots: A medium strength wall that can absorb most attacks
Wall of thorns: A weaker wall, but trying to force your way through it will often cause injury.
Wall of trees: Extremely strong wall, but takes a good couple minutes to grow.
Entangling roots: Summons vines and roots that try to trip up and hold his target in place.

Personality: Quite a vain dragon even by dragon standards, more than eager to gloat about his own looks. His primary interest (besides himself of course) is knowledge, ranging from newly discovered inventions and concepts to ancient hidden texts. He considers himself the prettiest dragon around (at least of the males) and is happy to remind everyone of that.

Background: 
As a youngling, the eastern was arguably a little too pampered by his parents, though even at a young age he seemed to take great pride in his fur and it quickly grew out of his hand, the dragon refusing to participate in most dragon activities on the account of it dirtying him up, so he was quick to gravitate to reading in his past time, learning the human language rather quickly and taking advantage of the fact that they like to write things down. Due to this he is actually quite familiar with human society, though in particular scholarly areas he overhears at the library.

Strangely enough, he developed an affinity for manipulating nature through magic, partly because he enjoyed the wild scenery occasionally, and because it allowed him to interact with nature without touching it. Also he really did seem to enjoy fruits and veggies way more than other dragons.

He struggled for a while to advance through the ages of dragons, mainly due to not wanting to muddy up his fur, so he worked mostly on applying his magic in non physical ways and avoiding touching anyone as much as possible, making most of his magic defensive with the exception of various poisonous vegetation to whittle down and tire out potential opponents.
