Sam could see the axe blow coming from a mile away, he just wasn't sure that Max could. He used that as justification to kick his little buddy's behind and send him soaring (Max letting out a cheerful "Whee!" As he did) before side stepping the strike. Well, that and it was fun. "Yeesh, that axe of yours looks nasty," Sam commented, cocking his revolver "but from my experience, bullets beat just about everything." With that, Sam opened fire on Yangus, firing off two bullets before getting interrupted by Max landing on his head. "Sorry Sam, I was aiming for lardo over there," Max explained, waving around his handgun carelessly "I don't know how I missed him honestly." "Never mind that Max," Sam responded, taking aim at the big lug again "let's just pump this guy with so much lead, toy factories will have to recall him so he won't poison children!" "You have such a way with words Sam." Max said before joining Sam in shooting at Yangus. (Meanwhile...) The Spy was shocked by Sylux's speed, so much so he didn't see the Shock Coil fire at him until it was too late. Letting out an annoyed grunt, The Spy became visible and stumbled backwards, getting a mean right hook from Sylux before he got his senses back. Shaking his head, The Spy got into a combat pose, glancing down at his watch. He was sure he had another 90 seconds before it went dead, but he could clearly see that it was out of juice. He grunted in annoyance, deducing what had happened very quickly. "I see..." The Spy said with a hint of arrogance "So zat doo dad of yours saps electricity..." He experimentally checked his Dead Ringer. Sure enough, it needed to charge, even though he hadn't used it all yet. He eyed Sylux cautiously, reaching around in his pockets for something that would come in handy. As soon as he found it, The Spy rolled forward and in front of Sylux, swiftly moving to his side before pressing the mouth of The Ambassador against the side of the Bounty hunter's head. This was a bluff of course, as he was currently digging out something that had helped him many times in the past-his Sapper. It would be a gamble to see if this had been effected by whatever it was Sylux had fired at him, but it seemed like his best bet at that point. With that, The Spy slapped the Sapper on Sylux's torso, with a simple one liner. "Great minds zink alike zen..." (Elsewhere) The Doctor moved aside as Asuka attempted to break down the door, only to watch her run into it at full force before tumbling to the ground, the door not giving an inch. "Let me try something Miss Kazama." The Doctor spoke up before Asuka could try again, digging out his Sonic Screwdriver. He held it over the lock on the door and activated it, surprised to see the door not budge. "Funny," The Doctor said, a little miffed "that usually works. I wonder..." His mind racing, The Doctor formulated what seemed like a decent hypothesis to him, before turning back to Viridian, Robin, and Asuka. "Now, this is just a theory, so feel free to take it at face value," The Doctor explained "but I think these door open up to other arenas, smaller ones than this, that we'll be allowed to enter once the competition has been reduced, it you catch my meaning." Suddenly, the sound of multiple guns going off caught The Doctor's attention. Whirling around, he saw a six foot tall dog and a three foot tall rabbit firing at a beefy looking Viking, and what looked like a tense standoff between a sharp dressed fellow and...Something robot that made his skin crawl. He shuddered and shook his head, trying to not let it bother him. "It's only a theory mind you," The Doctor concluded "but they might have the right idea..." (Somewhere else...) Samus' visor showed no immediate threats. Hell, it didn't show anything. It was just a dark void, one that she was all to familiar with. She folded her arms and sighed audibly. "Five...Four...Three...Two..." The bounty hunter got out before being interrupted. "...ONE! Hello once again Miss Aran, I believe you know what this is?" The Voice said with much enthusiasm, clearly happy to have Samus back. "I've done this five times, I'd hope I would know by now." Samus said sarcastically, running a check on her Varius suit to make sure everything was running efficiently. "I won't waste your time then, transporting you...NOW!" The Voice boomed, and with that Samus was gone. Samus was plopped down on a nearby hill, where she immediately turned on her scanner. She didn't see any veterans on her radar, so that gave her an edge right off the bat for being the only one here with experience. That doesn't mean she didn't find anything she recognized, as her scanner picked up a being she had encountered before, and one she hoped she wouldn't encounter again. "Hello Sylux, it's not nice to see you again." Samus said to herself. She paused to charge a full shot with her arm cannon before making her way down the hill and into some tall grass, hoping to get the jump on her old enemy.
