A firefly lighted his way between the many trees, the stars it couldnt see from the tree crowns looming over it, started dying out one by one. Retreating in front of the crystal blue morning skies. The little light swung left and right before it fly up and up. Many of the trees green blats cares the fireflies in its passing. Until it didnt meet the raising sun in front of it. A shadow disrupted the little insect of light. It was a big shadow , belonging to the most magical beings of them all who lived in this world. A dragon. The little firefly turned around watching the fast figure growing the gap between them, flying towards the mountains. Then it fall apart, the firefly melted into the lighting rays that went to feed the woods with their shine. A pair of dragons eyes opened far away from the little ball of light, but seeing everything it did. The owner of those eyes closed them again to yawn. The tail flickering lazily as the white dragon stretched her arms first and then her legs. Mirazan looked around her cave she slept in. It was a nice cave to her standards. It had a big fluffy hay heap she snuggled into when asleep. On the sides of the caves were many shelves showing off jewelry stones and various items. Opposite her sleeping corner there was human made furniture. A kitchen table, several chairs and a nice mirror. Beside the mirror were her wardrobe holding mostly cloths and bags in it, all intended for her compact form, as well as some of the human money. She looked away from it and towards the cave entrance, it was big enough for her to leave it while being in her normal form, her head dropping down on the hay, watching it. She didnt want to stand up so early, enjoying the sleep so much more. In sleep she could watch so many dragons at once, ensuring they were all safe. Her eyes closed before the body shrunk down to size of a child.A blond girl with pale skin, eyes blue and a small sleepy smile on face. There was no time to sleep, today was a beautifully day. Many dragons were still arriving and the Aging Festival was starting today. Many more dragons already arrived. As the Grand-grandmother she couldnt just hide in her home. Taking a deep breath she sat up. The Grand-grandmother walked towards her mirror deciding what to wear today. This days were days of happiness for so many dragons. Some will age older in the upcoming days, feeling pride and greatness for what they are. Some would come to catch up with old friends they didnt see, talking and celebrating reunions and sharing discoveries they may have made in this wide world. There will be dragons who would court each other in this good atmosphere and many eggs may be made. Love and flirt was in the air just as much the smell of many hard working dragons. Mirazan chuckled to herself as she decide to wear a dark blue dress with a fitting top hat, a white scarf around her neck. Getting herself a apple from the bowl on the kitchen table, as she walked out in the sunlight breathing it in with deep breaths. She could see the children fly and play around, hearing the talking of the dragons close by. The tribe always became so overly lively in this days, many dragons with the right type of magic made plants grow faster bearing many fruits, berries and vegetables for the many mounts that needed filling. A chicken run under her dress as it was escaping a dragons child gasp. Leaving the girl shake her head at it. A sorry from the dragon thrown at her as it still hunt that white panicked bird. Such a lovely chaos, like every festival. Something else made Mirazan happy for today, and that was the lack of humans in the surroundings of the tribe. The old magic shield would protect them but still ... nothing is perfect. She feared those creatures. Not liking how close their city actually bloomed by the tribe she cherished so much. But for now they didnt trouble them. So she let them live. Many of the dragons would go to the city to explore and satisfy their curiosity. She hoped there will not be trouble arsing from this. Sometimes even she would go for a trip, trying to ensure no one will come after them. Studying humans. Keep friends close, keep fears even closer. Turning back to her dragon form she flapped her wings strongly raising her body off the ground. Slowly flying over the tribe. Greeting and welcoming the dragons in her passing. Mirazan knew how hard the grandpas and grandmas worked, being there for any dragon that felt the need to show respect by greeting the one stronger then him upon arriving. And beside it all helping the youngsters with their magic. She was grateful for their help just as grateful she was that she could protect the other dragons. As the dragons tribe passed under her, she wondered to herself. Everything was build by dragons in it. But still there could be seen the occasional house made by a dragon inspired by human architecture. The mixture of things, were just as board as the beliefs and ideas the dragons followed. Soon even the grand-grandmother landed between a dragon group, greeting her old friends and enjoying the reunion times. The days of the Aging Festival have arrived. ------------------------------------------------------------- Chu The man grinned as he watched a crack on a egg grow with the raising of the sun. Chu loved children and spent a lot of his day in the care of the tribes nursery and babies. Loving to tell them tails of the great love between dragons. Having fun to explain the feeling of failing of love and tease them with not telling how eggs are exactly made. Retelling tells he as a small baby listened too. Chu was a dragon who spent a lot of his time in his compact form, preferring it over his dragon form. Which was, well to Chu words not extremely practical under the company of many extremely big dragons. And with it he had quite the curiosity for humans, under which he didnt had to fear to being stomped on by mistake. He spent lots of time under them, trying to satisfy his curiosity and finding them fascinated. Sure a few times there were close calls and he had to hide away for a while. Even so his home in the dragons tribe was a small self build home just like the humans had...well nearly Chu couldnt wrap his head around how they manged to make any of their machines work. Even less how the light-bulbs shine or the sense of all those pipes. It was really confusing him. His home was full of the human trinkets and cogs of all sizes. '' Is it cracking?'' Chu head snapped to the side seeing another dragon who spent lots of time in the nursery. ''Yup, it may hatch on the festival, such a lucky little one. '' Chu winked to him, only to get his head ruffled in return, which made him frown. '' I wonder if the parents of the eggs will come to this festival.'' ''I will check to see if they are. You can watch it in mean time no?'' Chu offered standing up and stretching himself fixing his jacket up. ''Just dont end up flirting with everything that has a tail bunny. You may end up getting sat on. '' Chu got teased at which he made a false laugh rolling his eyes. ''Do not worry we two will make a egg, darling. My body may be small but my heart and stamina are enough for the whole tribe, including you~'' Che send just as a teasingly, a flying kiss to his friend before rushing away. Mostly to avoid a ball of water to hit him in the face, for his tease. Searching for some of the dragons he knew to have fun, and maybe find the parents of the hatching egg on the way.
