Fumio Hari Kouineji & Souta Fushimaru Hari It had been three months since the traitors revealed themselves and returned to their base or whatever. Fumio and Souta were now more than ever focused on their own business than that of the Seireitei's or that of the people within Squad Eight, meaning much harsher, lengthy and more effective training. Rio had passed on training with them during the three months, saying that she had a lot of things to sort out herself before she could rejoin with them. However, she did promise to train herself, since Fumio insisted heavily on doing so, giving her practically no choice but to accept despite the fact that she was going to do that anyway... Souta fell back onto the grass deep within a forest far from the Seireitei, panting heavily with his eyes closed, taking a short break. Fumio, however, stood beside him, his arms crossed while only slightly out of breath, panting a little himself. "Given up.. already Souta?" Fumio grinned, chuckling a little as he asked his partner. "N-no.... I just.... need a... minute... Huuu-heh" Souta responded, opening one eye to look up at the guy. Fumio lightly shook his head before uncrossing his arms and walking forward. "Minute over" "Wha-What?! But it hasn't been-!!" Fumio raised his Shikai before sharply swinging it downwards in Souta's direction, releasing a large Crystal arc tearing through the ground and forcing Souta to roll out of the way and onto his knees. "What the fu-" "-Focus Souta!" With three more quick swings, Fumio sent three more arcs in Souta's direction. The first two, Souta dodged by jumping to his feet and ducking then turning his body to the side, out of the way. The last one however, Souta brought up his Shikai and blocked the arc which forced him back, causing him to skid across the dirt a little before the arc shattered. A couple weeks before Souta would of had trouble trying to dodge the first arc, let alone all three without a scratch, this showed just how much the two were taking this training seriously and how far Souta had come. "Now my turn" Fumio swung his sword to point downwards with a smirk. "Show me your form so we can work on it" Souta nodded before standing up straight. "Himawari...." Taking a breath while closing his eyes, Souta continued to speak. Souta had only tried this form once and that didn't go well at all... ending up in Souta having to spend some time at Squad Four with Fumio keeping a close eye on him... but since then, the two worked bit by bit to stabilise Souta. controlling each Crystal separately all at once was a difficult feet, but practice makes perfect after-all. "Cryst... U-Uh" As Souta spoke, a few Crystal Spikes began tearing out of his upper back, shoulders, the outer sides of his upper arms and the outer side of his thighs while his Shikai enveloped in light before become a liquid-like substance, moving only up his forearms before stopping and solidifying, forming a Crystal casing around his hands and forearms. On a side note, Fumio had much more experience with his own Crystallised form than Souta knew of, Souta didn't even know Fumio could control his own so well and easily but this gave the both of them an advantage with Souta's form since Fumio was able to teach him about it as well as observe it. Now, Souta had purposely stopped speaking the word abruptly since Fumio had told him to, wanting to see what would happen. The pain, however, was something he wasn't taught about nor expecting. "How do you feel Souta?" Fumio asked with a serious face, scanning over Souta's form while raising an eyebrow. Souta scrunched his eyebrows together while panting which caught Fumio's attention. After another minute, Souta began speaking between pants. "It... Hu-Hurts..." Fumio looked up from Souta's Crystal Spikes to look at his face, able to see the pain without needing to be told. "That's because you're incomplete... This is what happens when one reaches the form without taking power from the others first. Unfortunately, unless you kill a Hari and absorb their power, this form will hurt" Souta briskly looked at Fumio with grit teeth, trying his best to not move his body in order to get used to the pain. "I refuse to be a part of that... senseless murder... I thought I killed my sister, but I hadn't.... Instead I left her for a fate worse than death... I won't have any of that happen again!" Souta's voice was strained, rough, however while the guy spoke, Fumio noticed something, an extra tone at one part... He knew what was going on, but chose not to react to it, instead Fumio only closed his eyes in response before opening them again, looking at Souta with dull, half-lidded eyes. "It's in our nature to take from our own. It's how it's been and how it will always be. How many times must I explain to you who you are before you understand. If you want the pain to go away, you must kill another one of our kind, even if it's just one person. Seeing this, I know you lied to me in the beginning, you told me that you had taken the lives of two or three others.... That just means more for me-" "NO" An unfitting, devilish undertone hid under Souta's words as his sudden anger at Fumio overrode the pain. His eyes then began clouding silver as he bent his knees a little, balling his Crystal-covered hands into fists before launching for Fumio. A sudden grin then popped on Fumio's face while his eyes opened a little more, making him look oddly excited and rather creepy as he welcomed Souta's anger. 'Always works~ Now come at me with your best shot Souta!'
