Kido shrieked as the bell woke him. Looking around, he saw that he was in his cabin, right where he had fallen asleep the night before. "It was a dream..." 
Most of the nightmare was already pretty faint in his memory, but he could remember the room. He had almost made it to the door when he looked in the mirror... 

He hugged Palo again, trying to forget. When he could feel his own heartbeat again, he let go and stood up from the bed. "It's okay, I'm still here." He smiled back at the plush dragon before he got ready for the day. A pair of light blue shorts and a bright green shirt later, he was leaving the cabin and skipping off to breakfast. "I hope everyone's not too tired from yesterday! That was fun, but I'm sure that there's fun stuff today, too!"
