Toku's head was spinning. Capable of speaking with his past lives? Maintain balance in the world? Bridge between our world and the spirit world? It was all a bit too much. He was barely able to take care of himself. How would he manage all this stuff? He thought about everything Jael had said. If he truly was the Avatar, he would have to change himself completely. It didn't sound like any fun at all, to be the Avatar. It seemed like a lot of work and dedication would be needed, and he wouldn't really get anything in return. The challenge of becoming a good Avatar seemed insurmountable. He wasn't going to make it by himself. "If all this you have said is true, which it probably is if I know you right, I don't think I'll be able to do it alone. Will you come with me, and help me become what I need to be? You're so good with all this difficult stuff. I'm not ready to face these challenges by myself. I mean, that is, if I truly am the Avatar. I don't feel like it's really been confirmed yet."
