giovanni listen and only blinked in response. The Man made several valid points, of which Gio made note. competition was healthy and rivalries did encourage growth and strength. however what he seemed to have missed was Gio's point. He sought training for himself, not that he had the chance to explain. Training on ones own was admirable and efficient but it came with a cap, an inevitable crossroad. either he would have to fight hords of hollows for the sake of pure combat experience or he would have to learn from someone more experienced. But since the captains were minding their own training or squad Gio would have to get...crafty. which he didnt honestly mind. This conversation did indeed spark an Idea in his mind, one he had previously but laid asside for the sake of cohesion. He would try one more Captain before he went to plan B. esspecially since plan B may or may not incure penalties. So he left squad six, taking with what was said. he was interested in how this Lieutenant would lead squad six in the captains absence but it really didnt matter at the moment. How Gio led squad 5 was what mattered. He wanted to better himself to better hi squad. And if No other Squad acknolwedge that train of thought he knew someone who would. But for now he had to be a bit more strategic. squad 6 was his first choice because of the captains reputation, noble and one who wanted the best for the soul society. and one who was simply a Beast. his second choice would have to have more thought. the new head captain was a no-go. though his Lieutant Yu was a possiblilty. squad 2 captain was new and probably had alot going on as well being new and all... he went down the list in his head as he walked. and came to the conclusion that mostly likely all the squad leaders would be too busy. So he moved on to Plan B and headed North, out of the Seireitei.
