Personality: He's misanthropic and cynical. He likes to work alone. Given the choice, he'd lock himself into his room and never come out, but he's also painfully aware that won't work. He hates his natural good looks. He likes to think outside of the box, looking down at those that can't adapt. He doesn't like to be around conflict and will go out of his way to avoid it. Arrogance is sometimes a problem for him as he feels he can do anything he needs to by himself. He wants to change his attitude towards people, but cannot trust them. He dislikes pretending to be someone else.

Demeanor: Some people act how their personalities are, but Ryujii puts on a front. He wears a fake smile in public while internally hating himself for it. He socializes with people when the approach him, but they have to be the ones to approach. His cynicism comes off as sarcasm, but the misanthropy sometimes comes out making for an uncomfortable scene. 
Fashion Style: He typically wears clothing that make him look normal to the point where no one notices him, but his naturally good looks makes even ordinary stuff stand out.

Prior History: Born a native of Japan, Ryujii's life started out hard. Mother had died from childbirth and Father became a broken alcoholic that beat him almost every day. Not knowing how to deal with the pain he received every day, he would have temper tantrums at school and get into fights which would only lead to more beatings. Eventually he stopped getting into fights and went into his own world. Escaping was just easier. The year middle school started his Father on a drunken rampage ended up getting hit by a car and put into the hospital where he would eventually die. Ryujii was then sent to a relative's home and he transferred schools. At his new school, he became popular very quickly and his new parents were nicer to him. With this clean slate he decided to try and be friendly as well, but he could not forget the backstabbing and the bullying he had lived through and instinctively kept people an arm's length away.

A teacher noticed the unusual behavior he had and investigated him with the permission of his new parents and the principal, after finishing his investigation he approached Ryujii with information about the HVA. Ryujii thought about it for a long time before deciding to give it a try.
