Aoba poured the food out, spreading it around before he let the turkeys loose. It would prevent the larger birds from jumping at him, and him possibly falling. "Eat up guys. and run around. Once you're done, you have to go back to your hut." He opened it and moved out of the way as the turkeys filed out. Aoba giggled and moved off to the side, watching them eat and run about. These birds were a lot more active than the chickens. They moved a lot more and made funny gobbling sounds. He moved over to pat one's head, but all of them seemed to get riled up all of a sudden. "I-It's alright! Why are you guys panicking-" He looked up to see both Dani and Kuro speeding towards them. Something was obviously wrong. Aoba moved to the far end of the hut and sat down. The turkeys found more comfort in Aoba than that of Dani, who was now perched in the run, so they hid behind the fluffy gray wings. Though, one smaller turkey managed to sit on his lap, and was hugged by Aoba. "D-Dani?" He called over as the demon growled lowly to himself. The demon glanced back when he heard his name and rolled his eyes towards the cowardly animals and the angel amongst them. "Relax, it's just another demon. No need to get all whiny and worked up." That was all he said before his attention snapped back towards where Kuro disappeared. He was waiting for his opportunity to intervene, or at least waiting for another demon to strike. One so bold, must have had friends to watch them boast. His eyes narrowed, and he tensed, watching every little movement carefully. It wasn't just because he wanted to kill a demon for joy, but it was also because demons were trying to take his toy. It was hard enough trying to get him away from Kurotama, he was sure as hell not about to let another demon take the toy. That would not be tolerated and whoever tried it would be given a dire punishment from him. Aoba flinched towards the howl, though somehow Dani's words made everything less scary. Despite them being a tad harsh, it was comforting to know that he had two demons protecting him. It was such an odd, yet helpful thing. The creatures he was supposed to despise ended up being. . . Well, bodyguards. He wondered if anyone was watching him from above. It probably brought his parents great shame too. . . A guardian angel and a warrior angel. . . With their son committing a heinous crime. But there was no time to think about the possibility of meeting his parents on Earth. At the moment, he was watching to see of Kuro was okay. Considering the turkeys went back to waddling and pecking about, he assumed everything was okay. And then moments later Kuro walked towards them. "Oh, good you're okay." He sighed in relief, whereas Dani growled a little. "I can never have any fun around here." He grumbled like a kid and moved from his post by the run and relaxed. Aoba smiled at Kuro glad he was okay, and then looked back towards the forest. There was a significant gap since the last attack...Hopefully news didn't spread around extremely quick and more than just one or three demons would start appearing...That's the last thing they needed.
