"actually, it is my business, you see, i am the great oracle Verona, i died aproximately 47 1/2 years before your birth. i watched you grow up, alongside every other human here. but you, and your group, especially the nephilim boy, you are special, tehe!" she lightly skipped over to him, feeling his muscles."oooh, such strength, you'd do nicely as a partner... your attitude can be bothersome, though...."she spun her bone blade around like a toy. " ill make you a deal, i know where every gate is located, along with its guardians. all i ask in exchange.." she slid her hands into his. "is to give this old lady a shot at romance one last time, tehe!" she smiled. she seemed harmless, like a schoolgirl, and light hearted.
Mason looked down at this 'little girl' he didn't even think if that was an appropriate title anymore, not with what she just told him. He wasn't at ease anymore, he was slightly less comfortable than he had been five minutes ago, he didn't like the idea of being watched his whole life, he shuddered a little. "Special?" He raised an eyebrow, he didn't understand what that meant at all, he wanted to move away from the girl as she closed in but he felt frozen in place. Now he was just completely uncomfortable, in his eyes this was still a kid, she looked at least to be some years younger than her. "Okay kid, you're really creeping me out.." He said, trying his best to stay relaxed.
She arrived just in time to hear the girl she recognized to be Verona, offer Mason a deal. With a chuckle, she leaned against the side of the door, looking at the girl.'Hm, Verona, long time no see.' she said.Verona was wanted in Hell for her amazing clairvoyance and ability to specifically see the future. It was an ability resembling that of Lord Death and her Father, but at a much wider scale. Thus, most demonic lords, including her father, had offered her many things to get her on their side.'I'm sorry to say, though you must already know this, that little Mason here already has a pending deal with mr. If what he wants is you, at the end of our little deal, I will gladly return him to you, but until thrn he is mine.' she stated leisurely.'There are more downstairs though, why don't you pick those? Koran is off limits, he is my mission to figure out either way, but the rest is all up for grabs.' she giggled jokingly.
Mason was mentally overjoyed to hear Mina's voice for possibly the first time in all of his stay here. Mason raised a brow at Mina's words, now turning attention onto her, he wasn't sure how to feel about these females overlapping deals, nevertheless, he didn't think he was okay with it. "How about I think it over..." He said, not wanting to be in the room anymore, fumbling around in his cargo pockets, finding nothing but a spare mag, with no rifle, how useful were they? He pulled it out and counted each round, he had thirty, soon an idea dawned on him as he checked the other pocket and his mag pouches, he sighed, only finding four, that wasn't very ideal, 120 rounds wasn't going to save him if they had no rifle, especially since he was in hell. "Shit..." He mumbled to himself quietly.
