She shrugged and the spear faded from view as they took their positions. Watching silently as the bullet fell to the ground, Kat immediately looked to Flood. Could be a risk but given what she had seen of him so far he seemed most likely to attack first, and he proved her right. However before she could act he was pushed back. She smiled at Kalinda's words. "And I shall have yours, providing I don't fall too soon." She smirked though her attention was quickly drawn back to the fight upon feeling a pain in her shin. She fell to her knee but didn't pause, as she grabbed Nicholas' ankle and pulled it away from him. Seeing Flood approaching Kat had no time to spend worrying as to the impact of that as she quickly stood and began to defend and return the attacks. Her fighting style did not reflect her strength, instead favouring sweeping, swirling moves with agility and grace. Of course not all her hits stuck, but neither did his. She managed to capture his arm at one point, and pinning it backwards spun and tried to elbow his back.
