In hindsight I have to agree. Seems the real misunderstanding was me thinking Jaldoa's tree was also further than it really was, thus I had made Chester go for a tracking strategy. If Jaldoa's actually that close then that Vertex would be both redundant and implausible =S. I'd be happy to omit it if you are, especially for the sake of flow. For as long as Chester doesn't know what those wards do, I can foresee him stepping into that Warning one fairly soon if not already... it might be worthwhile if I asked for an elaboration of it in advance.
