As soon as the beast-man started talking about love and compassion, Darrken stood up and walked over to him. "Just because I'm laughing and talking with" He started turning to Araile. Yet, when he looked on her his lost his train of thought. He turned back to Remes. Even though he had forgotten what he was saying, he knew he was trying to put up a tough front. So he continued on where he thought he left off. "I am a great warrior. I don't need" He trailed off as he saw Remes smirking slightly. Darrken tried his best to hold it together, but all he could muster a small huff of exasperation and he went and sat down.

Darrken knew Remes meant well, and he was pretty much right. Darrken just didn't want to admit it. His demon side was yelling at him. Telling him he was a demon first and foremost and he needed to kill and pillage, and it was his elven side that made him soft. To this his elven side came over and kicked his demon side in the face. To which his demon side punched his elven side in the gut. A small fight ensued. After which was a small intermission, in which both side watched a movie. Darrken shook his head. He watched as Araile and Remes talked and thought maybe it was about time to admit he could still be a big bad demon and have some companions.

Darrken came over to where the other two were sitting and smiled sheepishly. They were both mildly amused at his small tantrum and he was thankful they didn't take him too seriously. Darrken addressed Remes: "I didn't know I was being hunted, but that would explain the past few days. It seemed like everyone capable of carrying a sword had come after me. But, it's getting late." He began to look at the smoldering embers of the fire. "I've been just sleeping in these woods and you are both welcome to stay. However I assume you have a cave to go back to." He looked at Araile. He realized what he said. "Not that you live in a cave. It's just you're part dragon and dragons sleep in caves. So if you live in a cave that's fine, but I don't assume you DO live in a cave." Darrken looked at the ground. "I'm going to stop talking now."
