Phoebe had been watched the fight, seeing the intensity with which they were fighting. She froze when she saw the thick vines spring up from the ground, in much the same way she used them, and she didn't know what was going on. Her eyes were drawn to Nicholas, because she was more then sure the others in the fight couldn't use plants. 

"What the hell?" She said, more to herself then anything else, as she stared, shaken.

Kalinda wasn't shaken by the plants wrapping themselves around her, she merely pushed the vines from her neck away with her telekenesis, and then slipped into the shadows as the light from the flash bang disappeared, and she moved from the vines, making her way to the corner of the room. You couldn't trap the shadows.
