Noting first and foremost so people may not need to ask as much. At any given time someone may join in, just make a CS and pop it out there. Notes Before the CS: -Manhattan like anywhere in the waste is ravaged in war, the Brotherhood of Steel and their Outcasts fight for technology in the ruins of the city. The NCR still fights the local populace of raiders and fiends, trying to act as peaceful lawmen though have declared a chunk of the city basically under martial law of their men. New groups are constantly rising and falling but these three dominate in major sections. Mercenary bands exist everywhere, fighting for the factions that pay most and constantly killing civilians in "crossfire." Besides, they don't need their caps anymore... It is your option to work in these factions, or to try and take everything over on your own but ultimately the objective is to make a single force dominate or if you are a badass of the wastes: a single man. (Or woman!) Factions: The three major factions are above. It's rumored the Enclave have a presence but it's not confirmed. You may NOT play Enclave. Brotherhood of Steel: Protectorates of the wastes the BoS stand to strip the technology away from savages that turned up after the waste. Though they aren't open to outsiders they do offer them smaller jobs as runners that allows them to eventually gain a type of citizenship with their faction. Starting in the BoS allows you to be no higher than a Knight. Your power armor can not be T-51, only T-45. Outcasts: After the standoff in Washington when the Outcasts reported the behavior of their old brothers they were shocked to find they were occused of being in the wrong. This caused an uproar, no longer was a single chapter cut in half but the BoS as a whole was now torn and the war spread everywhere in the US, including Manhattan. The Outcasts have no interest in the wasteland savages though also hire runners. Being an Outcast runner paid better by far but earning their respect was near impossible if you didn't bring them exquisite things. Being in the Outcasts requires you to be new. If you were a Paladin for the BoS you were reborn in this new family. But hey, better than being an initiate (Though initiate is an option aswell.) New California Republic: The NCR is bigger than the BoS and Outcasts combined. They have thousands of troops and conventional weapons, never so much as bothering with energy weapons. These men and women try to be old world military but fail to get the respect of the local populace. Being in the NCR you may be at most a Sergeant and are restricted to NCR gear and weapons. Pip Boys- The pip boy no matter how you got it, is now yours. This nifty device sorts your equipment and picks up radio waves. If you're skilled it can also hack into computers better. You can use older models or invent your own. They can he handheld, on the arm, or anything else that is completely convenient. They shouldn't be awkward like on your backpack or leg. Just saying. Gear- Your limits are your imagination. Any weapon can exist here but no starting with things like explosive launchers such as a fat man, grenade launcher or missile launcher. Armor is not restricted by much but power armor is only for full faction members. T-45 Max. Player made factions: Your faction can be a street gang or a mercenary group or really anything you want! If you want a faction with power armor run it by me first and we'll see but most likely not to be honest. You may at most control a single city block and you need to define your objective. Even a caravan could take the city. Any other details you may need just ask and I'll answer. Otherwise, you'll learn more in the story itself which is much more fun. ( So don't ask too much! ^That is limited for a reason in info.) CS: Name Age S. P. E. C. I. A. L. Tags: Negs: (Works opposite of tags, you are weak in this skill! For every tag you MUST have one neg and can have up to three tags. Choose wisely,if you're bad with explosives I'll likely force a mine to blow if you try to diffuse it. Gear: Keep it reasonable guys, three mags too a weapon. One primary, one secondary and a melee at most. You may give up one for something else like grenades (max three.) Or anything else. You think would be vital. Faction: One faction, and your status. There's a difference between BoS and a BoS runner Appearance: Other: And hey, don't put down a bio or personality. Does someone want to know? I guess the characters should find out then huh?
