Nobody here on this forum needs to go out of their way to cater to smut roleplayers on this site, a site which says such content is against the rules. The fact that they're breaking the rules doesn't mean we should give them a special rule exception zone, it means they should stop breaking the rules and take it elsewhere. They can go to Google and search for 'adult roleplaying forum' and they'll get some relevant results, and they can take their smut there where it's welcome. Making an entirely new website just for Roleplayer Guild smut roleplayers would be a waste of everyone's time. If you think there should be another site for them to do their thing on, fine, it already exists, so just direct them to one of the already existing adult RP forums.

As for banning them all, yeah, that [i]could[/i] work, but it would require iron-fisted mod control of 1x1. They could throw up a sticky saying they're cracking down hard, and anyone who wants to roleplay smut can go to a different forum or get banned, then they could start throwing out bans at everyone who even seems to be looking for smut, like the people who post those suggestive but not quite explicit interest checks I mentioned previously. That could work to make it clear smut isn't allowed in 1x1 at all.

It won't happen though. Too much work for the mods, and that happy medium of people just keeping explicit stuff to PMs keeps the ads safe and technically keeps them from violating the site rules, so the mods don't have any incentive to do such a thing.
