Before he got a response, the two males had their backs to him with their wings raised. Aoba's own had folded behind him, and he was practically hidden from sight. He didn't question what they were doing because he was sure it had to be for a reasonable purpose. He waited patiently, a little tempted to look over their wings, but he decided to stay back just in case something else happened. Luckily, nothing did and he was left with only two demons to keep up with. Two demons that weren't trying to kill him...hopefully weren't trying to kill him. "Thank you." He was grateful for the protection. If there was one thing he knew he couldn't do on his own, that was definitely fighting off demons. Aoba wasn't built for fighting and he had no training or will to do such a thing. All he wanted to do was become a medic angel and help people. Now, he was reduced to a simple farmer. There was no reason to be sad about it now. He was sure he was sad enough over it before. Now, it was just the matter of survival without his magic or the skills. Aoba was practically a human with wings. He looked down at the turkeys still wandering about, already finished with their food so he decided to put them back in their hut. As he turned, he felt Kuro grab a hold of his wrist and he looked back as if asking why he was stopping them from performing the task he wanted to do. He held still, and then eyed the silver chain with gold tints. It looked nice. He was a little weary at the mention of finding it, but because Kuro asked so nicely, Aoba nodded. "I'll keep it on. I still have the necklace by the way." He pulled it from his shirt and held it up along with the charm on his wrist. They were really nice gifts. "You've given me enough you know. There's no need for more gifts. Besides, I can't repay you for all of it. At least not any time soon. . ." He kept the charm on and smiled gently. "But, thank you Kuro." He nodded and turned to finish his job. With a gentle whistle like before, he got their attention and then pointed towards the hut. "Back inside you all. No more running around." He gently shoved one of the turkeys forward and they all started to hustle into the hut. "It's dangerous around here. There are some mean demons that lurk around here. I don't want you guys getting hurt." He nodded and closed the small door after all of them had gotten inside. He realized Kuro probably didn't get to feed the other animals thanks to the demon that tried attacking, so he looked back at the barn. "I'll help you get the rest of the animals fed."
