After Dani finished, Liam scooted herself next to him, then sat in silence for a while.
"You died and you can't remember anything about your past at all. You just continue your life without knowing anything about your loved ones." Liam said, startling Dani. It seemed she understood a whole lot more than he thought she would.
"It looks like we are in the same boat here." Liam continued, smiling gently. "Let's eat something."

"Sure. I mean, I don't have to, but if you're hungry." Dani said, then became completely serious. "So you can't remember either, huh? What even are you, anyway?"

Dani got to his feet, and held a hand out to Liam to help her up. His scrapes were already scabbing over. They weren't deep, and would heal quickly. He would just be a tad sore for a couple of days.
