Haruka picked up the pup and made her way towards the barracks. She hummed a song quietly as she scratched the pup behind the ears gently. "You are just so cute! But your paws are big. You're gonna be a big dog huh?" she asked it before checking it's gender. "Ok. You are a boy." she settled the pup in her arms. 

She walked into the pet shop with him still in her arms. "You'll need a name. Ooh, and a badass collar." she mused happily. The pup seemed to be content in her warm embrace and despite him still shaking in fear. "Those leeches traumatized you, didn't they? You must have such a strong soul to go through that..." she said to him encouragingly.
