It was deathly quiet as she felt him climb, only to halt all movement. [I]Why’d he stop?[/I] she questioned. Shade disliked this mode of transportation greatly, she hated that it left her helpless and unable to see or do anything were they attacked. A slight scraping noise caught her ears in the silence though and she recognized it, the sound of something slicing through glass. She had heard it a few times when dealing with cat burglars, but normally it was much louder. This one was practically non-existent and she believed the only reason she could hear it at all was due to it most likely being Terror trying to get in.
