For the most part, Tai had an uneventful walk. It seemed that most of the Grimm in his area were attracted to the other, louder fighters going on, some of which he could hear going on elsewhere. Without the Grimm, the place was calm, peaceful, majestic with it's painted reds and sweeping forest trees. He walked with a destination in mind, but did not race ahead, careful to take the path of least resistance, while also being able to contemplate and prepare. After all, there wasn't much point in arriving at the artifacts without a partner, was there? Fortunately, fate seemed to have a partner in store for him. In he course of his almost idyllic stroll, he could hear the sound of someone else moving through the underbrush nearby. The sounds also indicated that said person wasn't exactly having the best time of things. Well, fate appeared to have thrown him something, so he oriented himself and moved to meet with whomever this person was, eventually emerging from the trees to come into sight range. "Well, looks like we're partners then," he said to the boy who up until that time, had been muttering under his breath. "I'm Tai Zhou."
