John was getting slightly restless, waiting out there for the small group that had gone in to return. "Guys... They've been in there a while... They either found something really interesting, or they're gone and we should move before whatever made them not come back finds us." He looked into the house through a window for a moment before noticing movement in the window. "What the heck...?" He said more to himself than to anyone else. He looked closer, before seeing the moving... whatever it was... disappear. He raised an eyebrow before realizing it was probably because he was blocking out the reflection, and then turned around. In the distance, there were about ten walking figures moving towards them slowly. "What the heck is that...?" He glanced around for allies before shouting loud enough for others to hear, "Hey guys... There's... Something coming!" As his voice echoed slightly, the creatures that had been walking stopped for a moment, looking around slightly before picking up their speed... A lot. Though they had seemed like they were a good three minute walk away, the speed they were running turned the distance into a much, much shorter time. A very short time later, a group of what seemed to be the corpses of the damned that had lost their will to do anything other than make others as miserable as they were neared. "GUYS!" He spun his scythe around as one began to reach him. He quickly swung the scythe at the humanoid, the creature's body splitting in half more easily than he expected. Due to the surprising lack of resistance (of course, caused by the lightning effect the scythe had), John's swing caused him to almost lose his balance. As he stepped forward, right next to the severed torso of the humanoid, and suddenly felt a grip on his leg. "What the hell!?" He, in reflex, swung his scythe as quickly as he could to knock whatever grabbed him away, only to realize it was the, still living, torso that he had just removed from the legs. His eyes widened in horror as the first thing he thought to shout was "Zombies!?"
