He wrote the Girl in the fireplace? Wow... Ok maybe i shouldn't be so harsh. But yes, he really should stop trying to "expand" the universe and overall plot of doctor who so he can satisfy his ego. 

And he should stop trying to casualise the Damm show! Seriously back in Russel T Davies era nearly every episode a character who was a ally to the doctor (minor or not) would die! Now thats drama!
