Third let the young teacher walk away with no argument, not that she had time to though...

She sighed slightly as the boy made his best attempt to start a conversation. She smiled and tilted her head slightly

"Depends on what kinda mushrooms you are referring to, the poison ones, not so much." 

She paused and watched the boy's damage on the tree,

She didn't show it, but she was evaluating him. "Powerful hits" she commented eventually, 
the technique was shaky, and everything could always be improved upon, but as someone with
apparently no proper mentoring in fighting, it was a good start.

Third took her eyes off of her target, she didn't want him to think she was judging him, he really didn't
seem like one to take critical assessments well. 

"That tree won't be hurting anyone now after your done with it"
