Though he almost always seemed to look irritated, today he was seething. His face wore his usual scowl and amber eyes flashed at the guards as they escorted him down the hall. The slightly short boy in the bright red vest and black pants said nothing on the way to the cafeteria, though. He didn't want to waste his breath. As soon as he entered, he quietly got his food and sat down at an empty table near the back of the room, still glaring at the remaining guards and rolling up the sleeves of the black shirt he wore under the vest.
